Journal topics for writers and coaches

I’d love to share some journal topics for writers and coaches with you today.

‘The Telegraph’ newspaper ran an article yesterday about how the gesture of writing in the air to ask for the bill is becoming obsolete as the bill is not written any more.

Similarly tapping your wrist to ask for the time is also becoming obsolete as more people look for the time on their phone rather than wear a wrist watch.

This made me think about notes on phones and gratitude apps and how they are also replacing the old-fashioned notion of writing a diary/journal.

Journaling can be a great way to tune into yourself rather than only keeping your focus on the outside world.

Our phones and devices have a tendency to take us away from our truth so journaling on paper with a favourite pen can be a welcome change.

Here are some simple journal topics to get you started. Remember this isn’t homework. No-one is going to be marking your spelling or grammar.

Start gently and go only as far into journaling waters as you feel you’re able to right now. Always seek additional support if you need it.
